Sans Matured in a combination of 67% French and 33% American oak. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark red black hue. The nose displays aniseed top notes followed by some black plum, toasty oak and confectionary. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich ripe succulent fruit flavours of aniseed, ripe blackberry and confectionary with a toasty vanillin oak overlay. Opulent and joosy with velvet smooth tannins. Good depth with long aniseed, toasty oak, vanillin confectionary and spice aftertaste. A fuller riper style of Adelaide Hills Shiraz.Cellar 3-4 years.Alc 14.5%
