Sans Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice are intermixed with blackcurrant followed by some light cigar box and spice notes. The palate is blessed with superb rich blackcurrant fruit and shows more fruit purity than the 2009 where the toasty cigar box characters are more prevalent. Following are flavours of black cherries and liquorice with earthy cedar and spice on the back palate. The richness of fruit ably supported by dryish solidly built but fine grained tannins. Long blackcurrant, liquorice, cigar box and spicy earth aftertaste.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc 14.5%
