Sans Paul Conti is one of the pioneers of the Western Australian wine industry having established Paul Conti wines back in the late 1960’s when there were a mere handful wineries in the state. Initially set up by his parents as selling bulk wines to European immigrants Paul went onto lay the foundations for a modern winery and release his award winning Mariginiup Hermitage [now called shiraz] â€?which is produced from old non-irrigated shiraz vines planted in 1958. Today his son Jason has taken over the winemaking reigns.
