Sans Named after Stuart Blackwell who has been the wine maker at St Hallett since 1972 the fruit for Blackwell Shiraz is sourced exclusively from the north and western slopes of the Barossa Valley. These areas of the Barossa include Seppeltsfield, Marananga, Greenock and Ebenezer. Maturation took place in American oak for a period of 20 months with the richest parcels of fruit being aged in new American oak with the balance in second and third use barrels.
