Sans Totally opaque inky black crimson colour with deep crimson red black hue. The nose shows good intensity with aromas of liquorice and ripe blackberry followed by some vanillin confectionary and subtle spice. Well endowed and densely concentrated the palate possesses lavish flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberry, dark plum and subtle dark chocolate followed by some vanillin confectionary and blackpepper on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins work in tandem with a sumptuous mouthfeel. Excellent power with long liquorice, ripe blackberry, vanillin confectionary and subtle blackpepper aftertaste.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 15.5%
