Very pure and enticing in its drier styled bouquet that suggests hay bails, cocoa and an assortment of nuts, transitioning to hints of ripe plums and apples. A genuine softie on the palate, impeccably balanced, defying its natural strength, still not without depth. Flavours of water biscuits, poached orchard fruits (pears and apples), cocoa and old leather are easily neutralised with water, so dilute cautiously. 197 bottles. 50.1% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
