Sans Released into the world of winemaking in 1999 after seven years teaching physical education, Tim McNeil has already worked alongside the likes of Mark Barry to help carve out the iconic Jim Barry “Armaghâ€?Shiraz and also their highly regarded Watervale Riesling. In 2005 a new challenge beckoned with an opportunity to work with Kevin Mitchell at Kilikanoon and to also start creating the first Tim McNeil Wines. McNeil’s dry grown, tiny five acre plot of Riesling is located on Springvale Rd, Watervale, home also to Knappstein’s Ackland and Grosset’s Springvale vineyard. McNeil has secured himself a full time job with this exceptional release.
