Potent aromatics of liquorice, black cherries and blackberries intermingle with dried meats, vanillin cedar, lightly scorched earth and black pepper. Magnificent power and richness with concentrated flavours of liquorice, black cherries and blackberries riding over a background of lightly toasted vanillin cedar, faint dark chocolate, scorched earth, some meatiness and black pepper. The fine-grained tannins have an underlying firmness providing great structure and a robust mouthfeel to the wine.
