Sans Outstanding colour displaying a saturated inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Elevated liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas are to the fore followed by some dark plum, liquorice allsorts, vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied, rich and opulent yet with good underlying structure the palate is flooded with succulent liquorice and blackberry flavours over some dark plum, vanillin confectionary, lightly singed cedar and blackpepper. Velvety yet densely built tannins show off their muscles and provide an excellent structure. Great length with a long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, vanillin confectionary, lightly toasted cedar and spicy pepper.Cellar 8-10 years.Alc 14.5%
