Sans Winemaker Nick Farr is rightfully ecstatic about the 2012 vintage commenting “These wines are so bloody exciting. It was one of those years where everything worked and the sites dictated the path the wines would take. A mildly dry end to the season gave us even ripening, good acid and abundant flavour. We harvested 1.8 tonnes per acre over 33 acres – a perfect quantity. The wines faithfully reflect site and soil characteristics, with good intensity and mouthfeel, complexity and length.”
