Sans Like the other rums in the latest shipment from the House of Macduff, the provenance is undisclosed. The nose opens with warming alcohol, molasses and chocolate oranges. Quite an attack: Textural, even slightly grippy with restrained sugars, a crisp finish and buzzing spices. Generous yet breezy, and remarkably well balanced for a cask strength bottling �one that leans towards aged Havana Club 7, only richer, and at least three times as intense at this gorilla ABV. No shortage of depth to handle heavy mixing. 247 bottles at 64.6.% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
