Sans Matured in a combination of American & French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. The nose shows very good intensity with aromas of liquorice, dark chocolate and dark plum over a back drop of spicy vanillin oak. Rich and plush the palate features fleshy textured flavours of dark chocolate, dark plums and liquorice that generously flow across the palate followed by some mocha and spicy vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of dark plum, dark chocolate, liquorice, mocha and spicy vanillin oak.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc. 14.8%
