Grapes come from Berchidda (Olbia-Tempio) in Mount Acuto, Sardinia. They are hand-harvested. The grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Each varietal is vinified separately and blended after ageing in second-use, medium-toast barriques for 18 months. The wine is bottled and rests for 6 more months. Aromas of blackberry jam, red berries, tobacco and menthol. Round with fine tannins, this is a full bodied and robust wine that is now ready to drink.
