Sans Semi translucent dark red colour with a brick red tinged hue. The nose exhibits varnishy top notes alongside some ripe plum, strawberry jam and spicy cedar. Soft, supple and savoury the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries, plum, a touch of strawberry jam, sour cherries, dried meats and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark and sour cherries, strawberry jam, stalky cedar and spice. This Pinot has developed much quicker than anticipated with the colour deepening and the nose taking on an off putting varnishy character.Drink now.Alc 12.5%
