Sans Very deep dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple red hue. Fragrant aromas of blackberries, liquorice and hints of violet are followed by some vanillin cedar, faint earth and spice. Light to medium weight this is a very elegant and refined Yarra Valley Shiraz that features flavours of blackberries, dark ripe cherries and subtle liquorice over vanillin cedar and traces of pepper. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, subtle liquorice, vanillin cedar and light pepper.Cellar 4-5 years.Alc 13.5%
