Sans One of the pioneers of Margaret River Cape Mentelle’s first vineyard was planted in 1970 followed by additional plantings in 1988. The 2013 vintage is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 1% Merlot with maturation taking place in Bordeaux coppered barriques of which 50% were new with the balance being 1 year old for a period of 18 months.
