Sans Aged for 24 months in seasoned French hogsheads. Impenetrable black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice merge into vanillin cedar and subtle tobacco with spice end notes. Full bodied the palates very rich and concentrated blackcurrant flavours reside over liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle earthy tobacco characters and spice. An opulent mouthfeel for the most part conceals the robust tannins. Long ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, earthy vanillin cedar and spice aftertaste.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc 14.5%
