Sans The Dutschke family has a history dating back to the 1930’s on their Barossa property but it wasn’t until the mid 1970’s that they first planted their beloved Shiraz grape. Fruit was initially sold off to other producers such as Krondorf & Mildara Blass until 1990 when Ken & Wayne decided to keep some of the fruit for themselves and start producing wine of their own under the brand “Willow Bendâ€? It wasn’t until the 1998 vintage that the Dutschke label was launched.
