Sans This is a riper styled, lower acid Chardonnay with plenty of early drinking appeal. Fermented with wild yeasts, it was mostly raised in stainless steel tanks. 5% spent seven months in French oak, 15% of which was new. Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge around the edges. It yields attractive aromas of ripe peach and tropical fruits alongside some dried honey notes; there’s a delicate whiff of nougat and spice too. Very creamy in texture the palate boasts a mouth filling flavours of ripe peach intermixed with honeycomb followed by toasty oak, nougat and spice. Relatively soft acidity, but just enough to keep the finish fresh and balanced, further enhancing the wines broad appeal. Medium to long honeycomb, peach, nougat and spicy toasty oak aftertaste.
