The nose offering up aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice which merge into some vanillin oak and hints of earth over notions of crushed rock and pepper. Rich opulently textured flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plums flood the mouth with an underpinning of chocolatey vanillin oak, subtle crushed rock and pepper. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power with a long blackberry, liquorice, dark plum, lightly toasted vanillin oak and earthy blackpepper. A bold richly textured Heathcote Shiraz with exemplary power.Alc 14.5%
