Sans Matured in French oak for 24 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. On the nose ripe blackcurrant aromas combine with subtle choc mint and liquorice scents over vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied flavours of blackcurrant and mulberry are to the fore with an undercurrent of choc mint and spicy vanillin cedar. Sturdy but fine grained tannins with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, choc mint and spicy vanillin cedar.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 14.5%
