Sans Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. The nose presents an impressive sniff of ripe blackberries, liquorice and black cherries which show great elevation prevailing over toasty vanillin oak, hints of dark chocolate and spice. Full bodied, rich, lusciously textured flavours of blackberries, liquorice and dark plums flood the mouth with underlying vanillin cedar, subtle scorched earth and spicy pepper also present. Slightly dryish finish with solidly built tannins providing ample structure to the opulent fruits. Long aftertaste of spicy blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, toasty vanillin cedar, light earth and pepper.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc. 14%
