Sans Matured for 16 months in French oak barriques. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas overlay vanillin cedar, a hint of dried meats and blackpepper. Rich, plush and lusciously textured the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plum over some spicy vanillin cedar with a touch of pepper on the finish. Solidly built, yet fine velvety tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackberry liqueur, liquorice, vanillin cedar and pepper. Quite luscious for Adelaide Hills Shiraz.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 14.5%
