Sans Totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep dark crimson red black hue. Intense black cherry and liquorice aromas are followed by some dark plum, spicy vanillin cedar and earth notes. Full bodied the palate possesses tremendous richness with flavours of black cherries and liquorice over some vanillin cedar, faint earth and spice. Robust chewy mouthfeel with firm but cleverly concealed tannins providing some grip on the finish. Long aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, cedar, earth and spice.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc 14.5%
