Sans Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. Perfumed aromas of violets and ripe dark plums meld into some dark cherries and anise followed by spicy cedar end notes. Light to medium weight with good upfront richness the palate has flavours of ripe dark plums and dark cherries over some toasty oak and anise with a spicy dry finish. Fine grained, yet slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dark plums, anise and toasty cedar.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 13.5%
