Sans Matured for 21 months in French oak Hogsheads. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers very ripe blackcurrant and plum jam aromas with a hint of dried raisins and spicy cedar following on. Rich and full bodied the palate is packed with very ripe blackcurrant flavours that sit alongside flashes of pruney dried raisins over a cedary background finishing very spicy. Solid dryish tannins have a slightly chalky feel. Aftertaste of spicy ripe blackcurrant, subtle dried prunes and earthy cedar.Drink over next 2-3 years.Alc 14.9%
