Sans Semi translucent very dark red colour with a dark brick red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of dark cherries intermixed with some strawberries and earth followed by spicy cedar. Light to medium weight with a supple mouthfeel the fruit flavours are quite ripe with dark cherry and plum to the fore followed by some subtle anise and spicy toasty oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum, earthy cedar and spice.Drink over the next 1-2 years.Alc 14.2%
