Sans Opaque black dark purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. On the nose freshly crushed berry aromas of blackberries, ripe dark cherries and liquorice are overlaid by some inky earth like characters followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate is very youthful with an elegantly textured structure possessing flavours of inky freshly crushed dark cherries and blackberries with a touch of liquorice also present. Meaty earth like characters follow on with a very spicy dry finish. Fresh acidity and slightly chalky tannins with an aftertaste of inky dark cherries, subtle liquorice, earth and spicy dried meats.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc 14%
