Sans Outstanding depth of colour displaying an inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas rise from the glass over nuances of cigar box, faint earth and spice. Full bodied and amply endowed with a combination of rich blackcurrant, liquorice and subtle black cherry fruit underpinned by cigar box, earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Dry muscular tannins firm up the finish and give the wine a chewy mouthfeel. Medium to long blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, black cherry, cigar box, earthy iron like character and spice aftertaste. A ripe, chewy Bordeaux that’s loaded with rich fruit.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 14.5%
