Sans Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. On the nose aromas of red cherries and faint liquorice meet up with some meaty characters followed by faint cedar notes and blackpepper. Elegant, spicy and possessing a meaty mouthfeel the palate dishes up flavours of ripe cherries and liquorice intermixed with some meatiness, subtle clove, vanillin cedar and pepper. Very fine grained tannins. Quite savoury with a long meaty aftertaste of ripe cherries, liquorice, dried meats, smoky vanillin cedar and pepper.Cellar 4-5 years.Alc 13.8%
