Sans A blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot with maturation taking place in French oak of which 17% was new. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose offers up a youthful aromatic profile of black and red currant fruits along with mulberries followed by hints of liquorice and bay leaf over spicy vanillin cedar and tobacco. The palate turns up the heat in terms of power featuring a rich flavour profile of cassis, subtle liquorice and ripe mulberries over cedary tobacco infusions, traces of bay leaf and spice. Texturally very polished and refined with excellent concentration and power, however, being still such a young wine it needs some bottle age to build on its complexity. A solid yet very refined tannin structure appearing almost velvet like. Long aftertaste of cassis, ripe mulberries, subtle cedary tobacco characters, light earth and spice.Cellar 10-12 years.Alc 14%
