Sans 2014 Eden Valley Riesling was picked hurriedly in early March. Heat waves and February rain became a positive in the end, with the flavour intensity of the Rieslings being outstanding. Brilliant water like colour with a light greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. The nose possesses very good intensity with lemon and lime notes dominate over some orange rind, light talc and mineral. The palate matches the intensity of the nose with vibrant lemon and lime flavours to the fore followed by orange rind and mineral with a crisp crunchy acid finish. Long aftertaste of lemon, lime and mineral. Drink now or cellar 6-8 years. Alc12%
