Intense ripe dark plum and blackberry aromas waft from the glass over a background of liquorice, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Rich concentrated flavours of dark plum, blackberries, ripe black cherries and liquorice engulf the palate with underlying vanillin cedar, faint earth and a spicy peppered finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long conclusion of dark plum, liquorice, ripe black cherries, vanillin cedar, earth and spicy pepper.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 14.2%
