Sans Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark purple black hue. Showing very good density the nose offers up aromatics of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum followed by vanillin confectionary with hints of pepper also present. Full, round and rich the palate boasts luscious flavours of liquorice, blackberries, vanillin confectionary and light pepper. Slightly dryish on the finish with solidly built but velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, vanillin confectionary and pepper.Drink over the next 3-4 years.Alc 14%
