Sans Matured for 9 months in seasoned and new French oak. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a crimson red hue. Lifted dark cherry and strawberry aromas are laced with hints of anise followed by some stemmy cedar and spiced meat notes. Light weight but with good richness the palate features savoury flavours of dark cherries, strawberries and subtle anise over some meatiness and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Good length with a medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, strawberries, subtle anise, spiced meats and cedar.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 13.5%
