Sans Matured in oak casks, 30% new, for a period of 18 months. Black as night heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe black cherry and liquorice aromas infused with smoky cedar and clove mix with dried herb, earth and peppered dried meat notes. Rich and fleshy textured the full bodied palate features spicy black cherry and liquorice fruits over a back drop of toasty vanillin cedar, earthy graphite, dried meats and peppered herb characters. Meaty mouthfeel with slightly chewy tannins and a long aftertaste that’s both ripe and savoury.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc. 14.2%
