Sans Grown on the coolest block on the property and co-fermented with Viognier. Totally opaque black as night core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose offers up a youthful mixture of blackberry, blueberry and liquorice fruits over vanillin cedar, hints of scorched earth, confectionary and pepper. Possessing good size and a youthful richness the palate dishes up freshly crushed blackberry, ripe blueberry and liquorice flavours over infusions of vanillin cedar and spicy pepper. Vibrant fresh acidity with very fine grained velvet like tannins and an elegant mouthfeel. Long youthful aftertaste of freshly crushed blackberries, blueberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc 14.5%
