Grapes are sourced from 45 plots across seven Grands Crus, cultivated organically and biodynamically. Chardonnay (40%) comes from Avize, Cramant, and Mesnil-sur-Oger; Pinot Noir (60%) from Aÿ, Verzenay, Verzy, and Beaumont-sur-Vesle. Each plot is vinified separately. 25% of the wine is aged in oak; malolactic fermentation is prevented. Cristal 2015 spent six to seven years ageing sur lattes, followed by six to twelve months after disgorgement. Elegant and vibrant, Cristal 2015 offers notes of yellow fruit, red berries, candied citrus, and toasted almonds, with a chalky freshness and a precise, saline finish. Silky texture and great ageing potential.
