Sans A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Merlot aged for approximately 10 months in oak barrels. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the heart of Chianti Classico, it combines the finesse and freshness of Sangiovese with the smoothness of Merlot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aromas of spicy dark cherries and blackcurrant intermix with some earthy cedar and dried herbs. Medium bodied with an elegant, savoury feel the palate sees flavours of spicy dark cherries intermixing with mulberries and red currant over earthy cedar and subtle dried herb characters. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and well judged bright acidity. Aftertaste of dark cherries, mulberries, lightly scorched cedar, earth and spicy dried herbs.Cellar 3-4 years.Alc. 13%
