Sans Made from Nero d’Avola and aged for 10 months in small French oak barrels. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe Morello cherries intermingle with some dried cherries, prune, earthy vanillin cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Medium weight with ripe fruity Morello cherry and plum flavours to the fore followed by dried cherries, traces of prune, light earth, dried herbs and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of spicy Morello and dried cherries, subtle prune, light earth and cedar.Cellar 3-4 years.Alc. 13.5%
