Sans Deep dark red purple colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark crimson hue. Perfumed violet aromas overlay some dark cherries and plum with faint anise, lightly toasted cedar and spice ensuing. Still very youthful but possessing fantastic fruit purity, richness and power the palate dishes up a delicious flavour profile of freshly crushed dark cherries, ripe strawberries and plum over some lightly toasted cedar and a spicy meatiness. Supple mid palate with a bright lively finish and fine grained tannins showing prefect integration with the fruit. Outstanding length with a long conclusion of freshly crushed ripe cherries, strawberries, plum, light toast and spicy vanillin cedar. Will be a belter with a few years bottle age.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc 14.5%
