Sans Matured for 16 months in French oak barriques. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of blackcurrant laced with bay leaf and light dusty cedar over subtle spicy tobacco notes. Medium bodied the palate has an ample spread of rich blackcurrant and mulberry fruits which sit atop cedary tobacco characters, light bay leaf and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins show a little bit of grip on the finish. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, faint bay leaf infusions and spice.Cellar 2-3 years.Alc. 14%
