Sans Barrel aged for 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Uplifted scents of mulberries and ripe red currants meld into vanillin cedar with some light earth and spice also evident. Rich spicy red and black currant fruits dominate over mulberry and subtle nuances of vanillin cedar and earthy tobacco. Smoothly textured mid palate with slightly dryish but finely grained tannins. Medium to long ripe red and black currant, mulberry, vanillin cedar, light earth and spice aftertaste.Cellar 4-5 years.Alc 14.5%
