Sans ­The 2015 Brut Blanc de Blancs is exclusively made from Chardonnay selected from the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs : Oiry, Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.A buoyant and lacy mousse slowly subsides to reveal a pale straw coloured base that has a steady stream of generous bubbles rising through to the surface. Toasty pear and citrus aromas are intermeshed with roasted almond, yeast lees and chalky mineral notes. Focused and energetic yet fluffy in its feel across the palate, pear, green apple, citrus, yeast lees and roasted almond flavours overlay an oyster shell and chalky mineral back drop. Invigorating acidity lends tension to the long, dry sculptured finish.Drink over the next 6-8 years.Alc. 12.5%
