Sans Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe black cherries and liquorice dominate the nose with smoky vanillin oak, light earth and spice also chipping in. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a plush mouthfeel the palate has flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice intermingling with some prominent toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with good flesh to the aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, toasty oak and spice.Drink over the next 1-2 years.Alc. 14.5%
