Sans Impenetrable midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense dark plum, blackberry and liquorice aromatics rise out of the glass over lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spice. Rich, concentrated and opulently textured the palate is flooded with lavish flavours of liquorice, blackberries and spicy dark plums underscored by subtlety smoked vanillin cedar with a burst of blackpepper on the finish. Excellent power with sturdy yet almost velvet like tannins.
