Sans Despite this being only the third release of Sons of Eden’s entry level Barossa Shiraz, it has built up such a popular following that it sells out in a matter of months. This wine pays tribute to David Marschall who was not only responsible for planting many treasured old vine vineyards throughout the Barossa but was also a revered martial artist, actor and demolition expert. The majority of the fruit is sourced from three Marschall vineyards located in the Tanunda and Ebenezer districts. The Tanunda vineyard provides intense aromatic lift while the Ebenezer vineyards provide a denser fruit core and richness. Maturation took place in a mixture of new and seasoned French and American oak for a period of 18 months.
