Sans Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Top notes of liquorice and ripe black cherries are overlaid by smoky cedar and some meatiness with blackpepper following on. Succulent ripe black cherry, liquorice and blackberry flavours fill the medium to full bodied palate with ensuing smoky cedar, fennel infusions and pepper. Velvety mouthfeel with very polished tannins. Long savoury aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, smoky cedar, traces of fennel and pepper. A combination of rich McLaren Vale fruit and a long savoury finish make for delicious drinking.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc 14.5%
