Sans There are two sub-regions that consistently produce the best wines from Clare, Polish Hill River and Watervale. The interesting part is that the primary fruit aromas and flavours from Watervale are completely different to those from Polish Hill River. Polish Hill River Rieslings tend to be more restrained, tighter and have a finer delicacy in the mouth whereas the Watervale Rieslings generally have more upfront generosity and luscious fruit intensity.
