Sans Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Nosing offers up liquorice and spicy blackberry aromas followed by subtle dark chocolate notes, toasty vanillin cedar and hints of mint. Medium to full bodied with a plush entry the palate features rich spicy blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours over toasty vanillin oak and a touch of dark chocolate. Spicy finish with dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy blackberry, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and earthy dark chocolate.Cellar 3-4 years.Alc. 14%
